Hi,

Eat your last meal!! Just kidding. My Dr. had me do a modified adkins for 2 weeks before the surgery to shrink my liver. I've read that different Dr.s suggest different things.

Just stock up on soups, crystal light or some fruit juice, and continue to be as active as you can before and after the surgery---you'll feel better faster.

    Thanks so much for that.I am really excited but now I am really getting nerious.I keep asking my husband am I selfishfor doing this?He says no.But I guess it is my nerves.Any suggestons?

    Why would you think that you're being selfish?? You're going to live and be happy. Yes, it will benefit you, but isn't part of your reasoning that you can have a better quality of life with your family? Won't they all reap the benefits of this surgery, as well? I'm so excited for you!!!

    Thanks for those comments.Like I said I guess it is the nerves. I want this so bad. I can't wait til everyone says you look great and happy. don't get me wrong I am happy with my family but not myself.
