Well, give this a shot

10oz skim milk=10g Protein

1/3cup dried milk=8g of protein

1 bag of swiss miss hot cocoa mix=1g protein

just about 20grams of protein in 10oz of liquid :)

the Protein shakes weren't sitting well with my stomach, so i tried this and the nutritionist said it was a good idea.

Do this 3x a day and BAM 60g of protein :)

Also, if you can try to add 2oz of tuna into your diet thats around 10g of protein. possibly some cheese thats 4-8g protein.

my surgeon said, protein is my number one goal. so everything i eat or drink has some protein in it. 4 glasses of milk per day =80g of protein and everything else is just to get me to that 100g mark. Also throw some yogurt in that mix!

hope this helps :)

Anthony, I like your post. I haven't had surgery yet (hopefully March) but it seems like too many people focus too much on Protein drinks. I am all for pureeing cottage cheese and greek yogurt with more skim milk to get the needed protein. My surgeon's office suggests dairy as our primary source of protein for the first 3 weeks. They also want us to eat/drink 100gr of carbs so that we are NOT in ketosis. Should be interesting how my progress compares to those who eat less carbs.
