My surgeon told me that I need to lose 10 - 15 more pounds before surgery. I have plenty of time to lose the weight since surgery isn't scheduled until May and I know I can lose the weight, but this weekend I totally sabotaged myself and probably gained some weight back.
I ate soooo bad (chips, Cookies, popcorn, ice cream - you name it I probably ate it) and I'm not sure if it's because I'm afraid that after surgery I won't be able to have any of the snack-type foods for a long time or if it's because I'm scared of surgery now that I have a date, or if I just made some poor choices and need to jump back on the bandwagon.
I also threw out my back this weekend and am sure that being in pain didn't help with my food decisions. That sort of scares me because I know that things like stress and being in pain are going to happen after surgery and I want this to work for me so badly. I can't continue to live this way...any words of wisdom or encouragement would be most appreciated.
