I'm wanting my sleeve so bad, but it didn't look like I would have enough money until early summer and by then it would be impossible for me to take off work for the surgery. So, I've been looking at late September at best and feeling so discouraged that I was going to have to wait that long.

My new husband (since October) just offered up the balance of what I need so I can have it done (hopefully) in late March! We keep our money separate for a variety of reasons and I didn't know he could help me out that much.

I'm calling my chosen docs office tomorrow morning and getting the ball rolling. I have been in contact with them previously, so I'm hoping we can get this done in 6 weeks time.

God, I love my husband.

Oh, and to top it off...when I went into my docs website I found that he's got a special going that's $500 less than it was when I talked with them last.
