Back to Work!!

Well I will be going back to work today.. I am a manager at a fast food place. I will be 2 weeks out from surgery Tuesday so I hope it isn't to much with me going back today.. The doctor did tell me to take atleast 2 weeks off. How did going back to work effect you after surgery?

The main thing for me was feeling tired. I guess that's due to the anaesthetic mainly. Luckily I told them that I had to do light duties and they were fine with that. Now that I'm 5 weeks out I'm pretty much OK. All the best for your return and stick to the lean chicken salads once you're allowed solids as I imagine that the temptation will be tough! rolleyes.gif

I went back to work just over a week after surgery. I do alot of lifting in my job and didn't have any problems. Plan to pack your "meals" and take them for a while, it helps if you don't have to make decisions on the spur of the moment as to what to eat while you are still adjusting to your new tummy. Old behaviors will sometimes try to creep back in if you are not careful.
