My New Life starts Dec. 29th!!!!!

So I went yesterday for my pre-op with the surgeon. Was really uneventful just a quick chat with him about how he will be changing me physically but he can not change my brain. It hit me hard when he said that but I am certain that I am ready for this big change and my little brain will be fine when it sees how great I will look and feel.

December 29th I will be sleeved and I am incredibly excited. The only bummer part is I will be following a high protein/low carb/low fat diet for Christmas Day. No worries as I am up for the challenge. I passed one test yesterday when all my students had pizza for their Christmas Party and I passed on it. It looked and smelled so good.

I am willing to make the sacrifices knowing that my weight will never be an issue again!!!!!!!!

Grats! Skipping food for Christmas day (and drinking on New Year's Eve) is a small price to pay for a new life.
