Time Off Work?

Hi, I was just curious what the normal amount of time is needed to be off work for recovery. I am a Kinder teacher and thinking about the sub I will need. My guess was 2 weeks, maybe 1 or 3, just not sure.

I am taking off 2 weeks. I will come back to work with a restriction of not lifting more than 10-15lbs for 4-6 weeks post op. Some people feel up to going back to work after the first week but get tired easily. I would prepare to take off 2 weeks.

I had every intention of going back after one week. I think I am so tough. But, there was NO WAY!! I was still in a lot of pain. I took 2 weeks. And even then I was super tired half way through the day. I think it also helps to have the time off to adjust to your new way of life. It's a huge adjustment.
