OMG!! I got the call today that I was approved! My surgery date is set for Thursday, Nov. 18th! I can't even explain how excited I am...I can't wait to start my new "sleeve" life! I'll keep you all posted.

Hay, I got my call yesterday, Nov 4th! What a rush after being deined twice.........now approvep. I started this all in March, and here I am. I am very happy for you. We will be on the same time frame. Best wishes! Vicki

My date is OCT 29th with Dr. Alvarez, I can't wait, my friend is a nurse and she used him, she looks awesome, one year later, she loved it and said she wished she would have did this 10 years ago, I have been obese for 17 years and I am ready for my surgery!!

I was NOT expecting a call this soon. I was under the impression that I still had 1 more nutrition class to attend, but I asked the lady several times if she was SURE it was right & she assured me it was APPROVED 4 ME!

The only downside to my date is....no Thanksgiving turkey 4 me! Oh well...who cares?? Certainly NOT ME!

Congrats brookc73, Flygirl, Vicki & TexasT...looks like we'll all be gettin' on the losers bench around the same time.
