Getting excited!

Well, Friday I go get my diet from my doctor's office to start on Monday my two weeks liquid diet. Then Tuesday I have an EGD and Wednesday preop testing. Busy week next week, but one week closer to 10/18/10. I can't wait until I can finally sit on the loser's bench. I am so excited and nervous all at the same time.

One problem I am having is my allergies are acting up and I have a cough and sore throat. I love this time of year, but my nose doesn't, so if you would, say a prayer that this doesn't get any worse and I don't have to postpone my surgery.

I hope everyone has a great rest of the week and even better weekend.

Lisa

You'll be on that bench before you know it..... good luck with the pre op diet - its hard but so worth it! Good luck for the 18th.

Just around the corner, how exciting is that? It will be here before you know it and you will be on your way to a new life. Best of luck. Keep us posted.

Thanks for the encouragement. I picked up my diet and it doesn't look too bad. It is NutriMed has anyone heard of that? I got to pick out the flavors I wanted. I know that there are not going to be the best tasting, but I can make it through this next two weeks. I least it is not just a liquid diet. There are entrees, cereal, cookies, shakes and puddings. I can have SF jello and popcicles, SF drinks of any kind. With the cereal I can have a 1/2 cup of skim milk. So I think this is doable. I can't believe that it is getting so close.
