I am screwing up

I am close to 4 months out with a total weight loss of 74lbs but lately I've been screwing up, today was really bad - grazing. I usually eat under 800 calories, today... 1500. I need help with my head, why is it I am attempting to sabotage myself? What have some of you vets done to stop the grazing.

Hang in there Ken!! Remember why you made this decision. If it helps get a small timer... if you are hungry set it for 15minutes. If after that time you are still hungry eat something healthy. I have not had surgery yet, but I am doing the pre-op diet and I can tell you I have been tempted to say screw this and just eat everything I can find!! haha I also find that distraction helps me a lot. Go outside, go for a walk, watch a movie... something to get your mind off of food. Also, consider seeing a counselor... this is a huge change to your life. Having someone to talk to might help.

Keep up the good fight!!

p.s. I cannot have anything in my house that would enable me to sabotage myself. (Cookies, ice cream, chips...etc) If it helps, get rid of everything!! I am a lot less tempted if I have to drive to the store. :confused1:
