July 7, 201016 yr I now have serious burning pain in one of my incisions, its not constant but is there when I move or bend. I am 2 weeks post op and although this has always been my sorest spot, it was never this bad till a couple days ago. anyone else experience this? anyway to help calm the pain? Thanks Sherri
July 7, 201016 yr I have been lucky and had no pains to speak of... 2 of my 4 scars have healed completely, and the biggest one (on the left hand side) is on the way there. I did have a twinge, but I was doing some vacuuming at the time - so I stopped! You haven't been exerting yourself have you?
July 7, 201016 yr Author HI Judy, Glad your doing well :-) no I have not been doing much of anything really. lots of walking and naps. I did go to work for half a day yesterday but I was having the pain before going back to work. I have a desk job anyway..no exertion there.. Sherri
July 7, 201016 yr not sure if you can put neosporin on the site... if so there is one that has a pain medicine in it. it works wonders for scrapes. I would call your doc to double check before using it.
July 8, 201016 yr I know what you are talking about. I have been going through this too and am surprised you are able to work. I have spent the last 11 days trying to sit and lay in the most comfortable position. My Doctor says it is the nerves growing around the scar tissue. I have tried pain meds, pain patches, heat, and ice. Nothing helps. She says I just have to wait it out. I feel better now but it still hurts but at least I can walk again.
