Yay, a Surgery Date!!!! x post from OH

Yay! July 15th!!!!!!!!! This is still a little tentative however, based on Oxford insurance approval...But I am told from my surgeon's office that it's in the bag!

WOOHOO....

Starting therapy later this month also...just going to learn some new coping skills and whatever else I can learn to be successful this time.

It feels real good to have a date!

Any other July peeps out there yet?

Awesome news! It sounds like you are taking a great approach to this lifechange--your gonna Rock that sleeve!

Thank you! I'm really trying to be ready so I can meet my goals. I am an anxiety and stress eater so hopefully learning new coping skills will help. I also don't want to transfer addictions so I my try OA too. We'll see. I may journal as well.

Thanks again for the encouragement.

Congrats, Lori! the therapy is key, i feel. i had the surgery 2mos ago and my head wasn't as prepared as i should've gotten it... i've been in therapy before and can't imagine what i would've been like had i no clue what my true vices and weaknesses are. i think you should celebrate the great journey you've embarked on...
