Okay what have I gotten my self into what should I expect from this visit? I have all my labs done, sleep study, dr letters and phych eval done. I am a 42 year old 5'3" 236 pound mom of 2 girls 17 and 20 years old. I have been reading everybodies posts and have been very much informed about having VSG done. I am also a LPN of 13 years, I am tired of being that fat nurse. let me know what you have been through with your pre op visit. How long does it take? What is expected of me? Please help!!

My pre-op was pretty quick. He did a review of my labs/history - asked me a few questions about conditions. Then, he did a physical exam - including checking my blood pressure and weight himself. We talked through any of my last minute questions. That was about it. I think it was about an hour total.
