Starting pre-op diet

I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself to everyone. I am scheduled for surgery on the 25th and started my pre-op diet yesterday. I am on Opti-fast and am not really thrilled with the flavor but am determined to stick with it. I am not nearly as hungry as I thought I would be but I have to admit I want to eat. I'm staying strong though because I want to loose as much before surgery as possible. My highest weight has been 237 but I weighed in yesterday at 230.

Bambi - What kind of protein powder are you using. I can honestly say that I haven't found any of them to be "yummy". :frown1:

I use the Unjury. I really do like it....even my hubby who is very particular says it tastes like a malted...I find that it is best when I do it in the blender with a lot of ice....just mixing it with milk and powder, I don't like nearly as much.

My favorite is the orange. It tastes like a dreamsicle. I also did the pomegranite-something or other and it was really good too. Anything for variety at this point.
