Hello everyone! I have the vertical sleeve procedure on 12/16/09. My surgery was a breeze. No complications. Discharged in under 36 hours. I am now in my pureed phase of the post-op diet which is going just ok. The problem that I'm having is that I have absolutely NO desire to eat or drink. I have tried everything. I've watched the Food Network for a week which normally I would eat myself out of house and home, and still nothing. When I do force myself to eat, everything tastes fine. I get excited when I get to introduce new foods until it comes down to the act of eating. Has anyone experienced this? I'm trying to figure out if I am truly not hungry or if I'm psyching myself out because I'm afraid to fail?
