My first NSV!

I'm down just 21 pounds & already people are noticing. Just the other day my FIL asked me how much I've lost and after I told him he said "you can definitely tell it!" He never comments on things like this.

Then yesterday at my Dad's house, my step-mom asked me the same question & said the same thing my FIL said! I still can't really tell I've lost 21 pounds. I guess it's because I still see me as 201 pounds.

Congratulations! It really feels great when people start noticing the difference, and it encourages you to keep on keeping on!

Yes, it feels great to have someone besides my dh notice. Sunday at church, a lady asked me what I was doing to lose weight. I pulled her to the side and told her I had surgery. (We only told our preacher & one other church member that I was having surgery).

After we got home, my dh asked me if I believe him now...he's been saying that there is a definite noticable difference, I just can't see it myself.

Bearded keeps telling me that he can tell, too; however I still don't see it -- others at work have commented as well. I'll be happy when I can actually start to see it as well as others.

Congrats again Jenn.

Yes, my clothes are fitting a little more loose. They aren't too big yet, but they are definitely getting looser. :thumbup1:

I'm in the same boat as you Jenn -- my clothes are looser and fit differently; however with the exception of my capri jeans, they aren't too big yet, just loose.

Shoot, I haven't been shopping for new clothes yet, except in my closet! I am wearing clothes that people bought me for Christmas in years past that were too small before and now fit. But, I am about out of clothes now, and will have to do some shopping soon as my clothes are literally starting to hang off of me now.

That's where I'll be shopping for a while too Susan - except for some jeans - I don't seem to have them in an array of sizes ... everything else - yes - so it will be a while before I go to an actual store to buy new things.

Ross's Dress for Less comes in handy when you find you need something right now. I am waiting for big purchases too but when I went from size 18 tio 12, I had to get some new jeans. Tops havent been an issue just yet.
