Fosamax is a medicine used to prevent and treat osteoporosis. There is a warning about its use with recent stomach surgery. It entails taking the tablet on empty stomach with full cup of water, stay upright for one hour, not to eat, drink or lay down for one hour. The leaflet neither the producer site explain for how long after surgery would the medicine be avoided. I am sleeved before one month, regular on steroids (for arthritis) with drugs to prevent bone loss.
Any experience in that issue?
