Band 2 Sleeve in one operation?

I am wondering how many people have had their band removed and got the sleeve all in the same operation? I've seen some of the people who went to Mexico have had this all done at once but I am wondering if your stomach needs to heal after band removal before having sleeve done? I would rather have it all done in one procedure, but want to be safe about it. Thanks for your input!!

Hey, I just answered this in another thread you asked this question on. You absolutely can do it all at once, I did, as did many others on this forum. If you are having complications with your band, as I was, they will probably require a complete unfill prior to the surgery. Dr. Aceves also required that I do one week of liquids only prior to the surgery to eliminate any swelling from my band. The surgery itself went great.

I had my band removed had my sleeve surgery all at once by Dr. Aceves.
