8 days and counting... Need positive thoughts

This time next week my DH and I will be in Mexicali for pre-op tests. I am a nervous wreck but I am beyond thrilled at the same time. I don't think I've ever felt emotions like this before. I am going to miss my babies so much as I've never been away from them for more than a few hours. I know I'm doing this so I can be a better mommy for them, but I cry every time I think about my babies being so far away from me for 5 days.

To help me get through this week, will you please share a before and after photo? I love looking at them & I really need something positive right now. Also, if you pray please remember me next week.

I will be praying for you.

I know how you feel about leaving you little ones, but you know in your heart that you are doing the right thing. Just try to put your worries in God's hands and he will take care of you and them. Just keeping thinking of all the extra activies that that you will be able to do with them. Try to imagine how much better you are going to feel and look. Plus the good example that you will be setting.

Hey wait, I think I talking to myself too. LOL, Hugs, Judy

It is overwhelming to be away from your babies. My son has been in Tx for the last 2.5 weeks and is due home July 4th, I've missed him so much. He spent this time in Tx with my family during my recovery.

Hold strong to your faith and know that we'll be thinking of you and keeping you in our prayers.

I can't post any after photos yet - however, my before is posted (yucky). I can, however, tell you to look at my photo album entitled surgery (or something like that) and look at the picture of the painting I have posted there. It is Jesus with one hand on the surgeon's shoulder and one hand on the one holding the scapel. To me, that says it all. Place your life in God's hands and ask him to guide your surgeon on the day of your surgery. Let go and let God ... your babies will be okay and will benefit in the long run.

You will have a wonderful experience with Dr. Aceves.

Everyone there treats the patients like they are very

special.

I am sure you will miss your kids but the time will go

by very quickly. You'll be on the road to recovery

and changing your life in such a wonderful way.

Congratulations!
