Suggested to my husband we go out for Breakfast this morning after my 3 mile walk at the lake (beautiful morning) He has not had a "really good meal" since my surgery on Sept 19th. He's one of these that can eat whatever and still not gain weight. Anyway, he really enjoyed it and so did I. I am still in the mushie stage and ordered 1 egg with a small bowl of grits and estimated my allowed 4 oz and ate more egg than grits, and mushed it right on up :) It was really good! -Feeling blessed!

I also had my surgery Sept 19th. I am not ready to brave the venturing out to eat yet being on the mushy phase. I know the day will come soon, but I would like to get past the mushy phase first. Keep up the great work!

I cannot eat breakfast...and have not for almost 3 years now.....I do go out with my Wife for breakfast, but I will just drink coffee and maybe nibble on some toast....

As the day goes on it becomes easier....so I can eat a late breakfast, say around 10am, but even then not a lot of food...still early in the day.

My Wife fully understands, and is happy I am thin and healthy.....and still alive....

I actually do not enjoy eating out anymore. I can prepare better quality food at home without hidden junk in it.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
