One week ..weekeversary since I was banded!

Feeling great ... Did not have barely any pain medication, only tylenol the second day I stop them, narcotics slow down the healing process. My 4 incisions are healing and are already itching, a lot of gasses, but I guess it's normal. I will call the nutritionist tomorrow, since I am tired of clear liquids. Chicken broth is my worst enemy, I've been on Dominican chicken soup since yesterday, it is a lot of thicker than the regular one. I feel more energy, did 20 minutes walk yesterday and today and being moving my arms up and down with a one pound weight ...i had lost 8 pounds. I do a lot of meditation...if you don't know how, you can always use the self guided healing meditations in youtube. Being positive to my new lifestyle is imperative, I have a 10 year old girl to rise and a supportive husband to grow old to. Be positive, I know the will be days where there will be challenges, just think positive, create goals about what you expect in your future, that dress to you will wear after 11 years, the celebration of your birthday with your girlfriends in Atlantic City, the good you are going to feel and look next summer... There are so many things to look after when the challenges arise. Peace, harmony, prosperity and love for all of you!

I just got banded yesterday and woke up itching. Walking a little outside really helped with the gas pains. I got a little nervous while I was sleeping I rolled to my right side and could have swore I felt the band move. I'm just not use to feeling something inside of me. Good luck on this journey.
