  1. I had surgery on the second and feel that every once in a while too. My surgeon says its just healing. And that it takes about 6 weeks to be completely healed.
  2. Does anyone know of a good app to keep track of how much liquid your getting in daily?
  3. It's normal to be nervous about something happening to a loved one during any surgery. And it's nice that he apologized and said he will support you good luck and I hope all works out
  4. I just got banded yesterday and woke up itching. Walking a little outside really helped with the gas pains. I got a little nervous while I was sleeping I rolled to my right side and could have swore I felt the band move. I'm just not use to feeling something inside of me. Good luck on this journey.
  5. Thank you everyone surgery went very well. My nurse said that she was shocked cause after she woke me up from surgery I was wide awake and wanted to get up and walk. I was a little sore and pretty uncomfortable but was even in the mood to go for a little walk when I got home.
  6. Today is finally the day I'm getting my surgery feeling so excited can't wait to start this new journey.
  7. So it just hit me that I will be getting surgery in 1 day and 14 hours. I am overwhelmed with emotions right now and deff have some butterflies in my stomach. I can't wait to start this new chapter in my life.
  8. I am so sorry that your husband isn't being supportive. It's always difficult when you don't get support from the people you needed it most from. When I decided to do this I decided it to do it for no one but myself. So I'm not going to not get it for anyone but myself. The only way I won't go through with it is if I decide not to. I'm always here to talk:)
  9. Not at all I'm very excited to start a new chapter in my life and to see where this takes me.
  10. Thanks everyone:) I was pretty shocked when I told my closest family and friends and some weren't as supportive as I thought they would be. I even had a friend tell me that when I lost all my weight she didn't know if she would be able to hang out with me anymore cause I was going to steal the spotlight. I don't really have any fears other then losing myself with this change. I know some people have such different personalities after going through stuff like this.
  11. I am new to this forum and getting surgery in 5 days. I am beyond excited an anxious. I can't remember the last time I felt like myself or was able to be able to stand looking at myself in a mirror. I can't wait to start this journey and see where it takes me.
