Omg, so today was the day that I meet with the dietician so that my diet could be advanced to the mushy level and the hospital just called and cancelled my appointment because the dietician is sick. Are you seriously kidding?? Omg, I have been looking forward to this day. Ugh...!!!!

Aww that stinks. I would call the office and see if they will give you the OK to advance to mushies. I bet they will. It will probably take time to reschedule the dietician, you shouldn't have to wait for that to get off liquids. Good luck!

I called and they are waiting to hear back from the surgeon. In the meantime, I am scheduled to see the surgeon and rescheduled to see the dietician both on Friday. I guess another few more days of liquids...bummer.
