1st post-op visit

Ok so I'm 2 weeks post-op today and going for my follow-up visit. I know they will remove my stitches but anything else I should be prepared for? I am feeling great and am so excited to continue this journey!

Funny how everyone is different and have different experiences, I had dissolve-able stitches..that did not require removing and the sterilized steri strips fell off on their own.

Also I did not have to see my surgeon until 4 weeks post op.

If you feel great, congrats!! For MOST people the next step is to wait until 4-6 weeks post op for their band and port to heal to start the fill process if you need one.

Good luck!

Ditto.....same exact here.

I hope your visit is great, and hopefully they will schedule you for your first fill! :)

Welp first visit in the bag! Doctor was ecstatic about my 19lb loss, he said "you hit it out of the park!" Now I get puréed food for 2 weeks then on to regular foods. First fill October 29th. I am over the moon happy!
