Still hungry/think diet pills will help

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if anyone in here has taken appetite suppresant pills after being banded. I find that I am always hungry and am wondering if in addition to being banded and trying to eat right, will taking diet pills help me not be so hungry all the time. If any one has been successful at this please give us your story.

How much fill do you have? I think that before you start going back to the old style of dieting, you should discuss your hunger with your doctor. Discuss the use of diet pills with your doctor while you're there.

I'm with Stitchy - sounds like you need a fill.

I think that you will find you do not need a diet pill when you get the correct restriction (fill). Since reaching good restriction (it took 2 fills for me) I have never been hungry. I can have 2 meals a day (lunch and dinner) and about 3/4 c. of coffee in the morning and I am fine - never hungry. On occassion I will have a snack, but I could do without it.

I started taking my old Phentermine a few days ago to stave off the hunger. Idon't get my 1st fill until next Thursday, so just trying not to gain anymore weight until then.

It does sound like you might need a fill, but I have started taking a Hoodia suppliment daily. I'm tight enough that I can eat a decent bandster meal and not be hungry for a few hours afterwards, but the hoodia helps with the grazing and the head hunger. It's almost bizarre, because I'll feel like I've been thinking about food all day, but realize it's been 5 hours or so since my last meal and I hadn't been thinking about food at all during most of that time.

My sister is losing on trim spa (but only ever had 20 lbs at the most to lose) and hoodia is the main ingredient. To anyone considering trim spa, I would just say to look at the ingredients and buy something similar, because trim spa is like 40 bux for 15 days if you take it like the bottle says.

I was thinking of trying that trim spa, mainly for the energy diet pills like that give me a kick of energy, energy that I have been recently lacking...Now some of them can make me jittery and I don't like that feeling at all... I'll try it and see I also deal with head hunger..Like last night we rented a movie on the TV and I wanted popcorn we didn't have any and it just about drove me crazy watching a movie with out eating something...Talk about habits I need to break! UGG...

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
