I think it is good that you are aware of your fear and vocalizing it, which minimizes the power on your psyche. In the past, my "fear" would actually lead me to derail my own success. With the band, I

Hello everyone. I've been meditating on my weight loss journey today. My doctor said his goal for me was 134 lbs and I was like yeah right. I will be happy if I make it to 150 which is what I weighed in high school. As of yesterday, I'm now 144 and I thought my scale was playing a trick on me. So I weighed in today and sure enough, I weighed in at 144.8 lbs the exact weight from yesterday. I'm not saying this for kudos or anything I'm saying this because I remembered what my doctor's goal was for me at that moment this morning and now I realize well that's only 10 more pounds.
First of all, I'm still trying to process the fact that I'm 144
and I'm not even trying to lose. I just am. The band is really doing it's thing here. So what I'm feeling right now at this moment, is SCARED!!!!!!
I can't explain it I just feel like I don't want to be that small but then I do. I don't even remember being this weight I imagine in junior high but me, 134 pounds???? Are you freaking serious????!!!!!!! I don't know maybe I'm stressing for no reason but I just can't grasp this right now. I guess because I have been so used to being big, I don't know what it feels like to be small and for that reason I'm scared.
Thanks for listening.
