Question!

I've had my lapband almost a year and have had some problems with bad shoulder pain. I've had it before as a trigger that I'm full but never like this. This is happening when I'm bit eating, and subsides when I do eat. Any ideas??!! Thanks!!!

The vagus nerve is directly effected by the band and runs up your left side. As a result, some people do have issue with left shoulder pain/discomfort when they eat too much or their band is a bit tight.

Perhaps if you took smaller bites and chewed even more it might help? If it's getting worse, is there anything that could be causing your band to tighten? Stress, hormones, elevation, or even temperature?
