Hey everyone,

I was banded on August 7. I had my last period about 2 weeks before surgery. I'm definitely late and I was wondering if anyone has experienced the same thing? I'm thinking its due to surgery?

Could be related to your surgery, which is a kind of trauma to your whole body. It could also be related to weight loss, because as fat cells shrink, they release estrogen into your system, and that can mess with menstruation and moods. If I were you, I'd do a pregnancy test, though...

I was also banded on August 7th, but mine came right on time, August 11th. Could be the surgery, trauma or the drugs that you were given. I would call your doctor and discuss it with a nurse, they may want you to come in for a test. Good luck to you :)

Also keep in mind that anesthesia slows things down. Worse in some then others.
