Yes I was banded on the 2nd and I'm now on the full liquid diet stage.

I did some soupy grits this morning and they were sooooo good :)

I saw on here someone said they put thicker soup in the blender to thin it out. I am thinking of trying that after my surgery next week. Because I agree at this point I am so over shakes.

I was banded jst August 1.

I think i did liquids the first 5 days or so only bcuz i was recovering and my stomach felt really sick.

Yday i got down a half cup of campbells vegetable soup. It was mostly broth.

3 spoonfulls and i was stuffed. The 4th spoonfull i got a sharp pain and i just quit!

They did not let me have cream of wheat till this week in stage 2. But I did have a lot of tomato soup, tried cream of chicken and it caused heartburn both times, so I took that off my menu. My surgeons office had me make my shakes in 2% milk, I had not drank 2% in forever! Back to non fat now and looking forward to pureed salmon for dinner tonight. Slow and easy they told me, so that's what I'm doing. It is hard because my best friend is a man, and our relationship seemed to revolve around food, going to coffee out to eat etc. He is very slim, but I sure miss those times together right now. :(
