Going to The ER

Hey all,

I'm headed to the Morristown ER now. My port area has gotten worse, (the aching) and the area hard and for some reason now my left lung is hurting me too. When I take in a deep breath everything hurts.SO called my doctor at 5 am, because I woke up feeling terrible and he said to go to the ER for a cat scan.

Please say a prayer for me.:phanvan

I just saw this post. Wow what a quick scare and also a quick relief. I am happy you are better than you thought. I will still pray for you till all that yucky feeling stuff goes away. :D

Hope you feel better soon.

Hey Leener,

I'm glad you're OK. Something similar happened to me two winters ago.

I had a chest twinge that turned painful. It was like a cough that wouldn't clear.

So I got X-Rays and apparently some months previous, I coughed enough during a sustained allergy attack to the point that I put a little scar tissue on my lung.

That was 2 years ago, but so far (knock wood) it hasn't resurfaced via a cough or pain (although the inflammation spot is probably still lingering somewhere on my lung.)

So I hope this passes for you too.

Happy Band (and Life) Journeys To All.

Bless your heart Leener!! I just saw this thread, but I prayed just the same. So glad and thankful it wasn't serious!! Get some rest and lounge tomorrow....take care of yourself!!

oh wow, glad to hear you're ok. anytime I read someone having problems like this makes my heart skip and beat and wonder if Im making the wrong decision - but it wasn't your band, so that is a relief.

If you have had Asthma for any length of time,it's a wonder you don't have more scars - my 19 yr old daughter has had Asthma since she was 2 and has scarred lungs - it's the same as someone else explained above.

Good luck and sending good thoughts your way.

I am so relieved you are ok! I will continue to say a prayer that your symptoms clear up : - )

Have a great day ....

Bups, sorry you're not feeling well. I have something called Sarcoid Disease, which are nodules on my right lung that sometimes make it hard to breathe so I know how frightening that could be. How on Earth did your lung get scarred?
