Newly Banded 7/26/13!

I just got banded yesterday. Surprisingly, pain was pretty minimal. I'm on Day 2, and it seems to be a little more stiff and a little more painful. But all in all, not all that bad. Just uncomfortable.

I'm trying to walk around the house, drink Water, drink Protein shake, eat popsicles, broth...etc.

Thanks for everyone's support through this!

It will get better. I was banded the 23rd and am still a little stiff but it gets better each day!

I was also banded on the 26th and I am in the same boat as you! Just a little soreness today, a bit tighter like you said but not at all painful, just uncomfortable. So glad you have had a positive experience as I am feeling very thankful for mine! Keep in touch and let me know how you're doing!

All the best!

I agree that is does get better. You will get less stiff as time passes. I was banded on the 10th of July.

I felt like an 18 wheeler hit me the first couple days post op, but come day 4 i have significantly more energy and the port site is getting less pain so its helping!!! Baby steps and it will pay off :)
