I go tomorrow for my surgery. I have cheated here n there with my pre-op diet and now I'm scared. I have lost 28lbs in 6 months thru my classes. I have had nothing but water since 5pm. Has anyone else cheated on their pre-op diet and go thru surgery fine??

The purpose of the pre op diet is to shrink the liver so it isn't in the way. If your doctor is still able to perform the surgery then you are fine.... tomorrow will tell, good luck.

Me too. Surgery Wednesday. I'm great durung the day its when I get home and those munchies hit. Ugh!
