FIRST NIGHT HOME

I'm at the verge of TEARS! I'm missing the hospital bed so much. I can't find a comfortable spot on my bed :( I need SLEEP!

Ohh you poor thing, did they give you any pain medication? Perhaps it will knock you out and give you some rest. Hope you feel better soon :)

Yes to both questions I have pain medication & hubby is with me

I slept on a chaise lounge for about 4 nights and the migrated to a bed after. Make sure you have a heating pad because ur back is going to end up hurting the most. I am 11 days pre op and feel great except my back from laying on it. I also was a side sleeper and haven't been able to do that yet. Good luck and congrats on getting banded

I'm happy to say, last night wa the FIRST night that I could get in/out of bed with no problem... In fact, I got out of bed (unnecessarily) about five times (to check the doors were locked, to make sure I put the dog's food bowl away, to open a window & so forth) it felt good to be close to my normal self.
