Feeling stuffed 4 days out

I was banded 7/15 - 4 days ago. I have no appetite at all and feel stuffed all the time. I am having 3 protein drinks a day as required, after the drinks all I want to do is burp. Is this normal???

What you are experiencing is completely normal. You're still swollen and there is still trapped gas from your procedure. You'll feel much differently a few days from now.

  • Thanks Aviva- I just wanted to make sure nothing was wrong,

Your stomach is likely swollen from the procedure, and the burping from gas. Your appetite will return as you heal and the burping will eventually die down (be sure to sip slowly).
