Too scared!

Hi everyone!

Im 4months post op lapband, and 7 days post op from having my gallbladder removed.

For the last 2-3 days i'm feeling tighter then before with some foods i eat, and a couple of hours ago i had a HUGE stuck episode with a tiny tiny piece of baby carrot.

It lasted for a good 10minutes with lots of saliva and pbing.. I'm just sore now, like someone punched around my ribs/esophagus.

I'm concerned now that something could've happened during my gallbladder removal and maybe moved my band? Slipped?

Ohhh God! It freaks me out just the thought of needing another surgery!

Please everyone, help me!

I get stuck like that several times a week. I doubt you've hurt anything but go back to fluids and Soups for 24 hours would be my advice.

Also, call your doctor for a professional opinion.

I was going to suggest the same things. Liquids for 24 hours. That's what I did today after having a stuck moment yesterday. Yeah, I didn't chew my chicken good enough. It happens. ;)

I'm no doctor, but I did have my gallbladder out this past April.

I tightened up considerably for a little while after surgery. You have to remember, you have a lot of internal swelling. Also, having your gallbladder removed directly effects your digestive system so you're going to be sensitive to what eat for a little while anyway.

Just take very small bites, chew like crazy, and pause between bites. You'll be fine. :)
