Life Style change

Hi, My name is Evelyn and I going to be banded August 27, 2013. This is one of the biggest change in my life and I am a over 62 senior. I started my plan May 7, 2013 at 295 lbs, My doctor told me I had to lose 15 lbs. before I could be banded. so I had to see nutristist, psychologist and a cardiologist so with all that my nutristist came up with my food plan, psychologist came up with my new thinking plan and my cardiologist made sure my heart can take my new plan. Each time I went back to the my Dr. I had lost weight thanks to my new 1500 calories. Well this is month July 9th I weighed in at 276 Yes I am so happy. And since my surgery is in August I am now on 1200 cal. so the calories are going down but so is my weight. LOL LOL

Hi Evelyn, I'm Ange and I'm getting banded on August 5th. I started my pre-op diet a week ago and have already lost 5.5kg. I have 50kg to lose to get down to my goal weight. My surgeon has me in a strict diet of 3 shakes a day and a small bowl of green vege. The first 4 days were the worst! I had cravings and bad headaches from the sugar and carb withdrawal. Congratulations on your loss so far! You should feel very proud :)
