I have this nasty rash on my thighs below my butt and is not spreading onto my inner thighs. Dr said its a heat rash. But I'm wondering if its time to consider removing my extra skin ... Anyone else had problems like these ???

Is it because of the skin your bottom hanging over the backs of your thighs?

I just had a ton of skin removed from my belly. I used to get heat rash under the icky hanging skin.

I used to use Gold Bond powder after my shower. It kept it dry and the heat rash didn't come back.

Not banded yet, but my sister had gastric bypass, and had similar situations...isnt that good to have documented though, some insurances will cover skin removal if chronic situations arise from it...just a thought?!
