Banded 7/10

Hi everyone! I was banded at NYU on Wednesday. Feeling pretty good just some pain at the incision sites and some gas pain. Anyone have any remedies that can help with some of the gas pain? Also I have been trying to drink but I fell like I am so full after 2 sips of a protein shake. Is this normal?

Thank you! I will try the heating pad!!

no problem, you have a great day!!

There is a lot of swelling right now, which is why you may only take a couple of sips and get full. I think I had a goal of 4 oz per hour in order to stay hydrated. It should get better each day. As far as the gas pains, walk, walk and more walking will ultimately help with that. The heating pad and some gas x has helped others as well. Congratulations on beginning your journey!
