Banded 7/9

I'm doing great and down a total if 16 lbs since preop diet. I'm having a hard time drinking my protein shakes. I drink so much water I'm really full. How can I get the protein I need being so full.

  • concentrate on healing.. like tmf says it's not sweat right now not getting protein in... you will be able to get protein drinks in soon.. you can always add protein to your water if necessary... rest

It's hard at this point in your recovery. I wouldn't sweat a few days of not getting enough Protein. Maybe 2 weeks out you can be concerned but right now just give your body what it will take. Don't force Water if you aren't thirsty. Remember, shakes are mostly fluids too.
