Introductions

Hello. I was banded April 11, 2006. My surgeon is Dr. Rehnke in St. Petersburg, FL. Pretty uneventful surgery and post-op. Except the gas. When does all the burping stop?:)

Burping? *burps* Scuse me.

What bur*burps*ing? Sorry.

I don't remember burping. *burps again* Oops. *blushes*

Hehe.. seriously, it will get better. It took me a couple of months and learning how to eat slower to get those burps under control. Now, I'm just a normal burper. *grins*

Hey, welcome to bandland and to LBT! Glad you found us!

Hi Sonya,

Welcome to bandland and LBT. I still burp, but not as often as I did initially after being banded.

Best of luck to you,

Tricia

Welcome to bandland. It's funny to me that you're having this problem, I had the opposite problem for a good while after my surgery - I felt like I needed to burp but couldn't. It was terrible! Just when I decided I'd have to learn to live without burping *bbbbrrrrruuuuuuuurrrrrp* I burped. It was heaven! lol

Don't worry, it all evens out.
