I'm going to try some tuna fish this week also.............are you allowed to drink the soup with cream and all that cheese though? My doctor would have a fit...........I can only have low fat , low calorie soup, not even soup from a tin, only healthy stuff.

Haha ha of course Im not allowed, he asked me if I put into my coffee skim milk. But truly said could you live forever on low fat? And also I think that the surgeon wants to see some good results,me too but I dont want to overdo it and loose healthy. If I was on low fat only then I wouldnt even hit 500cals per day, because he said I dont need the Protein drinks...So Im doing it my way.And my mom found an article where the scientists found that if your cal intake is under 3200KJ which is 760cals then your brain isnt fed enough and you might lose your insanity.Dont wanna risk that:biggrin1: although some think Im insane already:biggrin1: :biggrin1: :biggrin1:

I love Indian food, and it is perfect for the mushy phase. Check out the pre-packaged Indian meals in your local health food store or Whole Foods. Lentils, pureed spinach, cooked mushy wheat, mmmm mmmm! Sooo delicious!

I use canned soups and I haven't given up the light cream in my coffee or stopped adding it to my mashed potato... I just am very careful to be honest with myself and count it all in my journal on fitday.com. Substituting lower fat foods for the high fat ones works for many things... cheeses, sour cream, using Pam, etc. but skim milk in my coffee?..... no way!!! I think it's an individual thing... which foods are you willing and able to give up..... and which ones do you keep, but keep track of?
