Question about exercise

I had surgery 5/21/13 - feeling great and want to start working out. I don't see my surgeon again until 7/5. My question is when is it ok to start working out and do you think using the Ab Circle Pro machine would be ok?

I would wait until you talk with your surgeon until doing any ab exercise. My still says no abs and I am a year out... of course I am a very bad listener and still do them... oops! Just start small with leg lifts and walking/ slow jogging until he gives you the all clear.

I was told 12 weeks before introducing abs and 6 weeks before vigorous exercise. I walked until I got cleared from my dr.

  • 2 weeks later...

Well,Exercise helps strengthen bones and muscles to some degree so i like the exercise work for build the muscles.According to me that regular exercise can help you achieve and maintain an ideal weight, which can be important in managing many health conditions..
