So im hoping to have surgery on Aug 5 and I'm a full time student and class starts Aug 18. How sore will i be ? Im worried I'll mess up in school both school and getting healthier are important to me so I'm worried .

I was sore for 2 weeks but went back to work nearly immediately. I see many post here who struggle going to work within 5 days though. I would guess that most people are OK to work or go to school within 7 days with just a few who have issues up to one month after surgery.

I took 10 days off and that was perfect for me.

Everyone is different, but I had the procedure on Thursday and I went back to work Tuesday. I could've easily gone in on Monday... just didn't feel like going to work.

It really took me about 10 days before I was feeling totally back to normal. I did everything post op but in moderation.
