2 appointments down 2 more to go!

Seen the nutritionalist today and my weight went up 6lbs which takes me up to a BMI of 55 :( I need to lose 2-3lbs a week until surgery. I was told if my BMI is 50 or higher pre surgery then I will be on a 3 week pre op diet( 2 shakes and a sensible meal) and the post op diet is 4 weeks(1wk liquid 2wks mush and 1wk introducing solids) :) I asked how likely it is to get my surgery Sept 19 and was told that's a great date to shoot for! I'm very excited to start my journey and just wish it was September already! I need to work on eating slower and smaller bites still and I went and tried to get a food scale but they don't carry them so I will try a different place tomorrow! I already bought my gas x :) I am trying different Protein drinks now so I know what I like when it time to only being able to drink the Protein Drinks.

How is everyone else doing today?!

  • Me too... not looking forward to the no food. But, looking forward to the changes I am sure to both see and feel.

Thank you! I know it's going to be a huge life change but I am so ready! Tired of being fat an not able to move without pain! I went and bought some Atkins meals, the steam veggie packs for the microwave, Pure Protein frosty chocolate, and a food scale! I had a Naked chocolate banana juice for Breakfast and had pizza at Peter Piper Pizza for summer days so dinner will be another shake or juice! I want to see how well I can stick to this meal plan!

I am trying really hard not to "sneak" a taquito I made for the kids! I bought water and I'm waiting for it to get cold so I can make my shake! I am going to try the pre op diet and add fruits and veggies because the nutritionalist said I need to do a 2k diet right now so my body doesn't go into starvation mode
