insomnia

I have been unable to sleep since my surgery. I am now 32 days post surgery, my surgeon and primary care both say that they have never heard of it. I did research and others have said the same thing, they are new insomniacs. I have tried lunesta, xanax, ambien, ambien cr, and temazapam, melatonin, and sleepy time tea. Nothing is working. Has anyone else had this problem? Have you tried anything that I haven't that works? My doctor says seroquel adds weight, have you tried it? Did it add weight to you? Any suggestions?

Are you taking those medications on an empty stomach? I've taken Ambien CR for years but it only works if I have not recently eaten.

Yes I have. I have been taking lunesta for about 13 years but it no longer works after surgery so my PCP is giving me different things but nothing is working.
