scared to remove fill

I got banded in 2007 and have gone from 300lbs to 150lbs. I've had some liquid taken out, put back in due to two pregnancies but now I'm back to 150lbs and I'm still losing weight so today I have an appointment to take a little out to stop losing weight.

Problem is........

I'm petrified of gaining weight.

I don't know if it's a mental thing or what but I'm petrified. I'm almost about to not show up at my appointment. I like being thin, I like being able to fit into things and what if I take out .5 and I gain weight? In my second pregnancy, they took out 1cc for my baby and I gained about 40 or 50 lbs. which is normal I was pregnant but it's still over what a person should gain.

I'm scared and I don't know what to do. Do I go? Do I not go?

I think you may be over thinking it. Talk to your surgeon about your fears. Congrats on getting back to goal weight again. What an amazing feat in itself! Worse case scenario...you go back for a fill. You have done the hard work...you know what you should do and what you shouldn't do. Your band is there to help...not be what dictates your behaivor.

You got this! Congrats again.
