Hey all,

I just got back from the courthouse. I am officially divorced as of 10:30 this morning.

It feels weird. Good but weird.

I got a little choked up when the judge was announcing to the court that

"evidence shows that this marriage is herby absolved and shall from this

moment on Leenerbups "Cowbell" (using fake name of course) be known as Leenerbups "Pirate".

I'm glad this happened during the Spring. Ressurrection, Renewal and rebirth, and all.

I too am divorced. My X-ass was 5 yrs younger & now the man who is making me smile ALOT more is 7 yrs younger!. I think its so funny that all I have ever wanted was an older man & all that are ever attracted to me are younger!? Strange- 'cause I am not a sugar momma;0)

Happy & sad for you, LB! You seem to have a great view of it, though, focusing on the renewal & rebirth! Go get 'em!

Congratulations. It's never good when marriages don't work out, but sometimes divorce is the best thing. :bananadoggywow: I know that my family is better for my parents' divorce. *hugs*

leener this is a good thing. that judge has granted you the wish of being able to recreate your being, your soul, everything about you. My mother just celebrated her 2 years being divorced, and she has become a completely different person. She has grown up, taken charge, made her self extremely successful, and taken risks she was never allowed to take! She still hasn't gotten another man tho. :grouphug: I keep hoping she would find a 20-something year old too just for some kicks LOL

I am glad you are happy. Stop the emotional eating, and Celebrate by doing something really special for yourself. A new outift? A day at the spa? A roadtrip somewhere special?

Yes but you've got a 20 something year old. Allow him to make the pain go away.
