My mom would say start a list of questions to take with you to the doctor and she is always right. Take some time and look through all the posts on the forum. There is too much to tell you in a post.

Hi, I'm new here! I just talked to my dr today for the first time about getting a lapband done. I have went up and down in weight all my life and I'm not talking a little fluctuation, I lost 75 pounds in a year and a half and gained it back in a year and a half. I've done this for the past 14 years. Anyway, my dr put in my consultation for the nutritionist and I will start my 6 months of documented visits in a couple of weeks. I know nothing about what to expect for this surgery so I am asking for any and all information that can help me get prepared. Also, I know people that have had weight loss surgery and they lost so much weight so fast that they looked sick so it scares me. How do you prevent that? Thank you in advance for any information.
