post-op

Nine days post op I'm not wanting anything to eat I'm barley getting my water and some protein in jello and broth taste nasty to me now

I was 239 before surgery I'm 215 today. A lot of pain the first week feeling better now. I can't wait to return to work on the fifteenth. I'm hopping my appetite returns soon.

You have done well so far good luck to you!

Wow, so you have lost 24 pounds in nine days! That's amazing. Just hang in there, it will get better as time goes by. It sounds like you have a good head start and if you follow the rules correctly, you'll be unbeatable! I'm glad you are feeling better, and, unfortunately, I will tell you that your appetite will come back - just give it a little time. Make sure you drink your water so you don't get dehydrated and think positive. You are on your way!

Thanks!

You're doing great. I had no appetite to speak of for the first month! I wish it would have stayed that way. :)

Hi Congrats on your surgery may I ask which procedure did you do? Because I am in the process of going thru the whole doctor thing to get it done but is undecided about which one between the Lapband and the Sleeve
