pre op diet questions

I have been on my pre op liquid diet for 7 days .My question is instead of using the optifast tomato soup could i blend low sodium tomato juice and fat free cottage cheese for a alternative.

I'm guessing that the cottage cheese is a no no. Best to call your doctor's office.

Every doc seems to be a little different. I'd call your doc to see about their instructions. Mine didn't require a pre-op liquid diet. Mine required a very low carb.
